Happy Friday!

It’s Friday and I’m posting over at Liberating Working Moms today on the perils of work/life (or is it life/work) balance. It’s a cold and semi-blustery day down here and I’m gearing up for one hell of a kid-free weekend. Tonight I’m having a fancy dinner with a fellow divorced mom, tomorrow I’m running 10 miles and then having dinner with a very nice single dad and then Sunday is brunch with a different single dad!
Dating for the win?
Sure, why not. I’m still hesitant on this whole dating thing, but I figure it doesn’t hurt to make new friends and get out and be more than just boring old Law Momma. So I’m dusting off my smile, putting on my good jeans, and pretending, for the next few days, that I’m something closer to Hot Momma. (QUIT LAUGHING!)

I'm a divorced, single mom to a pre-schooler, a full-time attorney, and a semi-reluctant vegetarian. I work hard and when given the chance, I play hard... but I'm almost never given the chance.
I think fart jokes are funny, I'm pretty sure magic is real, and my life long dream is to buy a farm and write a novel while watching horses run around at a respectable distance. (Because horses are scary up close. Seriously.)
