Enter Riley, Stage Left…

Last week, I started thinking about getting a puppy.
It’s something I’ve thought about off and on for about a year now, as I watched my sweet AJ get older and older. I do not want to ever be a dogless household. On Saturday, I played around on facebook and there in a small corner of the internet, was a posting: “Free puppies to good homes.”
I called.
By Saturday night, I had a sweet 7 week old Boxer/Beagle mix who I named Riley, cuddled up in my arms. You know, because I need more responsibility in my life.
Without further ado, I’d like to introduce you to the newest member of my family…
Once I decide on something, I don’t mess around. Decision, puppy, chaos. But it’s worth it. J loves her and I’m sort of fond of the little one myself. She’s sweet and smart and she’s only had one accident since we got her… and besides… J needed a puppy. Though he can’t quite say her name, (he says “Wall-E” swear and it’s adorable), I think he loves her… what do you think?

And maybe J can learn to help take care of her….and Ruley will probably help keep the older dog young! As a 4 dog household, being dog less is unimaginable…..

AGH! SO cute!! We got our dog a month before I found out I was pregnant with my second child. The timing . . . could have been better, butwe love her so much it was worth the crazy for awhile. Congrats on the new pup.
